Charlotte, NC (January 15, 2021) – Around 5:46 p.m. on the evening of Friday, January 15, a tractor-trailer accident took place on a roadway in Charlotte.
According to police, the collision took place on Wilkinson Boulevard near the area of I-485. A FedEx truck and another vehicle attempted to split a lane at the same time, causing them to crash into one another. The vehicles sustained damages as a result.
Paramedics and local fire department crews were dispatched to the scene of the accident. One or more people were injured as a result of the accident, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time.
