Durham, NC (December 23, 2021) – At 8:11 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, December 23, a hit-and-run pedestrian crash occurred in Durham.
According to Durham Police, the accident happened on West Club Boulevard. A pedestrian was walking in the area when they started to cross the street. However, as they were crossing, they were struck by a white two-door sedan that was traveling in the area. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene without stopping.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The pedestrian, who has not yet been identified, was seriously injured in the accident. The injured party was taken to the hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
