Durham, NC (March 16, 2021) – Around 7 a.m. on Tuesday morning, March 16, a multi-vehicle collision took place on a highway in Durham.
According to officials, the accident happened in the eastbound lanes of US-70. Multiple vehicles collided in the area, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The roadway was blocked for an extended period of time until police cleared the scene.
