Enfield, NC – Four-Vehicle Collision Leads to Injuries in SB Lanes of I-95

Enfield, NC (July 24, 2021) – Around 3:30 p.m. on the afternoon of Saturday, July 24, a four-vehicle collision occurred on a highway in Enfield.

According to the North Carolina Highway Patrol, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-95 around the area of NC-561. Four vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, leading to a forceful collision. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.

Paramedics and numerous other local responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. At least one person was injured in the accident, though their identity and condition are not yet known.

Due to the severity of the crash, all southbound lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for approximately 25 minutes. The roadway was completely open around 5:15 p.m.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
