Fayetteville, NC (November 6, 2021) – On Saturday afternoon, November 6, a firefighter was hurt in a house fire in Fayetteville.
According to Fayetteville officials, the incident happened at 6872 Brasswood Drive in the Cliffdale West neighborhood. The fire broke out in a home in the area, causing smoke and flames to quickly engulf the home. Fire crews quickly arrived at the scene to bring the fire under control.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene. A firefighter, who has not yet been identified, was injured as a result of the fire. He was treated at the scene but it is not known how severe his injuries were.
Four people were displaced from the home due to the extensive damages. None of the people inside the home were injured.
Due to the severity of the fire, the area was blocked for some time.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
