Fayetteville, NC (October 6, 2021) – At 1 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, October 6, a man was killed in a Fayetteville pedestrian accident involving a train.
According to police, the accident happened on the railroad tracks around the area of West Russell Street and Winslow Street. A pedestrian was walking in the area when, for reasons that are not yet known, he was struck by a train traveling in the area. The train came to an immediate stop following the collision.
