Fayetteville, NC – One Injured in Hotel Fire on Cedar Creek Rd

Fayetteville, NC (February 8, 2021) – After midnight on Monday morning, February 8, one person was injured in a hotel fire in Fayetteville.

Fire crews responded to the scene of the fire, which took place at the Clarion Hotel on Cedar Creek Road. They found that the fire broke out in a first-floor room. The hallway was completely filled with black smoke before fire crews arrived, according to a guest.

Paramedics were present at the scene of the fire. One person, who has not yet been identified, was taken to the hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation injuries.

Approximately 60 to 70 guests were not able to return to their rooms after the fire. A total of 46 firefighters worked to put out the fire.

The investigation into the circumstances of the fire continues.
