Fayetteville, NC – Pedestrian Accident at Eastern Blvd & Grove St

Fayetteville, NC (January 26, 2021) – Around 9 p.m. on Tuesday night, January 26, a pedestrian accident with injuries occurred in Fayetteville.

According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Eastern Boulevard and Grove Street. Few details have been released but police confirmed that an adult male was crossing the street at the intersection when he was struck by a vehicle.

Paramedics and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those in need. The male pedestrian was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and remains in critical condition at this time.

Due to the severity of the crash, numerous lanes of traffic were blocked in the area. Police urged those in the area to use alternate routes for a period of time.
