Fayetteville, NC (February 2, 2021) – On Monday night, February 1, a woman was killed in a fatal pedestrian crash in Fayetteville.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Bragg Boulevard and Sycamore Dairy Road when a pedestrian was crossing the street. She was struck by a vehicle that was traveling through the intersection.
Paramedics arrived at the scene after the crash took place. They confirmed that 57-year-old Robin Horton was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The driver of the vehicle that struck Horton was identified as 43-year-old Ambrose Culbreth, who was not injured and remained at the scene.
Due to the severity of the crash, the intersection was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
