Fuquay-Varina, NC – Car Crash at Walter Myatt Rd & Kennebec Rd

Fuquay-Varina, NC (August 23, 2021) – At 7:37 p.m. on the evening of Monday, August 23, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Fuquay-Varina.

According to the local police department, the accident happened at the intersection of Walter Myatt Road and Kennebec Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. This caused them to forcefully collide with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
