Garner, NC (March 18, 2021) – Around 1:37 p.m. on the afternoon of Thursday, March 18, a multi-vehicle collision took place on a highway in Garner.
According to police, the accident took place in the westbound lanes of I-40 near the area of mile marker 309. Two or more vehicles collided in the area, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment.
One lane of traffic was closed in the area for an extended period of time.
