Greenville, NC – Car Accident at N Green St & Belvoir Rd Intersection

Greenville, NC (January 21, 2021) – Around 9 p.m. on Wednesday night, January 20, a car accident with injuries occurred at a Greenville intersection.

According to the Greenville Police Department, the accident took place at the intersection of North Green Street and Belvoir Road when two vehicles collided with one another. The accident happened when one of the vehicles went straight through the intersection while a second was making a left turn.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident, which caused one or more of the vehicles to catch fire. Multiple victims were taken to Vidant Medical Center for treatment of their injuries. The parties are expected to recover.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.
