Knightdale, NC (June 29, 2021) – At 4:48 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 29, a car crash with injuries took place in Knightdale.
According to Knightdale Police Department deputies, the accident happened at the intersection of Knightdale Boulevard and Lynnwood Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics and numerous other local responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection until police cleared the scene.
