Matthews, NC (January 19, 2021) – At 12:50 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, January 19, a pedestrian accident took place at an intersection in Matthews.
According to authorities, the accident took place at the intersection of Melrose Cottage Drive and Margaret Wallace Road. Few details have been released but photographs at the scene showed that an adult woman was struck by a vehicle that remained at the scene of the accident.
