Pineville, NC (January 9, 2021) – Around 7:25 a.m. on Saturday, January 9, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Pineville.
According to officials, the accident took place when multiple vehicles collided at 1015 East Westinghouse Boulevard. Few details have been released but it is believed that one of the vehicles lost control, causing the collision. Multiple vehicles sustained severe damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the collision to help those with injuries. One or more victims were hospitalized as a result of the accident. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area until police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
