Princeton, NC (March 23, 2021) – At 7 p.m. on the evening of Monday, March 22, a car accident took place on a highway in Princeton.
According to officials, the accident took place in the eastbound lanes of US-70. Multiple vehicles collided in the area, which led to extensive damages. The vehicles had to be removed from the roadway by wreckers.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment. Their conditions are not known at this time.
Due to the severity of the accident, a lane of traffic was closed in the area.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
