Raleigh, NC (August 15, 2021) – At 5:42 p.m. on Sunday evening, August 15, a car accident with injuries took place in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Wainwright Court. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time until police were able to fully clear the scene.
