Raleigh, NC (May 12, 2021) – At 1:34 p.m. on the afternoon of Wednesday, May 12, a car accident took place at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Blue Ridge Road and District Drive. Two or more vehicles collided after they entered the intersection at the same time. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
