Raleigh, NC (September 2, 2021) – At 3:27 p.m. on the afternoon of Thursday, September 2, a car accident with injuries occurred in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Capital Boulevard and Homestead Drive. Police confirmed that two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the collision.
