Raleigh, NC (September 10, 2021) – At 6:22 p.m. on the evening of Thursday, September 9, a car accident happened at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Clark Avenue and Chamberlain Street. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
