Raleigh, NC (August 6, 2021) – At 5:57 p.m. on the evening of Friday, August 6, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Departure Drive and Oak Forest Drive. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly collided with one another at the intersection. This caused extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
