Raleigh, NC (July 8, 2021) – At 1:53 p.m. on the afternoon of Thursday, July 8, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to the Wake County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at the intersection of East Garner Road and Hill Haven Drive. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time.
