Raleigh, NC – Car Accident at Forestville Rd & Old Watkins Rd Intersection

Raleigh, NC (July 7, 2021) – At 6:48 p.m. on the evening of Wednesday, July 7, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Raleigh.

According to the Wake County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at the intersection of Forestville Road and Old Watkins Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided after entering the intersection. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged as a result.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.

Police continue their investigation into the circumstances of the accident at this time.
