Raleigh, NC – Car Accident at Fox Rd & Old Wake Forest Rd Intersection

Raleigh, NC (July 9, 2021) – At 7:33 p.m. on the evening of Friday, July 9, a car accident happened at an intersection in Raleigh.

According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Fox Road and Old Wake Forest Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.

The intersection was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.
