Raleigh, NC – Car Accident at Glenwood Ave & Brier Creek Pkwy Intersection

Raleigh, NC (April 30, 2021) – At 11:14 a.m. on the morning of Friday, April 30, a car accident took place at an intersection in Raleigh.

According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Glenwood Avenue and Brier Creek Parkway. Two or more vehicles collided in the area after they entered the intersection at the same time. This led to extensive damages to the vehicles involved.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.

The Raleigh Police Department continues its investigation into the accident.
