Raleigh, NC (July 12, 2021) – At 7 p.m. on the evening of Monday, July 12, a car accident occurred at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Jones Franklin Road and Wood Aisle Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
