Raleigh, NC – Car Accident at Mt Vernon Church Rd & Creedmoor Rd

Raleigh, NC (April 27, 2021) – At 5:32 p.m. on the evening of Tuesday, April 27, a serious car accident with injuries occurred at a Raleigh intersection.

According to Wake County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Mt. Vernon Church Road and Creedmoor Road when two vehicles collided. It is believed that they entered the intersection at the same time, which led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized as a result of the accident, though their conditions are not yet known.

Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time. Drivers were urged to avoid the area.
