Raleigh, NC – Car Accident at New Bern Ave & Duckling Way

Raleigh, NC (July 13, 2021) – At 5:43 p.m. on the evening of Tuesday, July 13, a car accident with injuries occurred at a Raleigh intersection.

According to the Wake County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at the intersection of New Bern Avenue and Duckling Way. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area and entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles forcefully collided, which led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles. The vehicles were removed from the scene by tow trucks.

Paramedics and numerous other local responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time as police worked to clear the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
