Raleigh, NC – Car Accident at New Bern Ave & Sunnybrook Rd

Raleigh, NC (February 18, 2021) – Around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, February 17, a car accident took place at an intersection in Raleigh.

According to Raleigh officials, the accident took place at the intersection of New Bern Avenue and Sunnybrook Road when two vehicles collided with one another. Few details have been released but it is believed that the vehicles entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved received severe damages.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene of the accident to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital. Their identities and conditions are not yet known.

The intersection was blocked in the area for an extended period of time.

No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
