Raleigh, NC (August 30, 2021) – At 5:37 p.m. on the evening of Monday, August 30, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Poole Road and Jeffrey Street. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
