Raleigh, NC (February 21, 2021) – At 6:40 p.m. on the evening of Friday, February 19, a car accident took place at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident took place at the intersection of Raven Ridge Road and Durant Road. Few details have been released but police confirmed that two vehicles entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene of the accident. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.
