Raleigh, NC (July 7, 2021) – At 7:53 p.m. on the evening of Wednesday, July 7, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Starmount Drive and Capital Boulevard. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, which caused them to forcefully collide. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
