Raleigh, NC (August 13, 2021) – At 6:52 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, August 13, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to Raleigh Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Trawick Road and Stony Brook Drive. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their identities and conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
