Raleigh, NC (December 21, 2021) – At 5:34 p.m. on the evening of Tuesday, December 21, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to Raleigh Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Wade Avenue and Blue Ridge Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to forcefully collide with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, a large portion of the intersection was blocked for a period of time.
