Raleigh, NC (April 26, 2021) – At 12:41 p.m. on the afternoon of Monday, April 26, a car accident with injuries occurred on a major roadway in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of US-1 around the area of mile marker 101. Several vehicles collided with each other in the area, which led to extensive damages.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were present at the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured and hospitalized as a result of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
