Raleigh, NC (July 5, 2021) – At 3:23 p.m. on the afternoon of Sunday, July 4, a car accident with injuries occurred in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of East Six Forks Road and Wake Forest Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to forcefully collide. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. Multiple people were trapped inside their vehicles and had to be extricated by fire crews. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time.
