Raleigh, NC (November 12, 2021) – At 2:29 p.m. on the afternoon of Friday, November 12, a car accident with injuries occurred in Raleigh.
According to Raleigh Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Cross Link Road and Laodicea Drive. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. This caused the vehicles to forcefully collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for some time until police were able to clear the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
