Raleigh, NC (December 13, 2021) – At 7:54 p.m. on the evening of Monday, December 13, a car accident with injuries occurred at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to Raleigh Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Rock Quarry Road and Jones Sausage Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident remains ongoing.
