Raleigh, NC (July 2, 2021) – At 7:33 p.m. on the evening of Friday, July 2, a car crash took place at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and New Hope Church Road. Two or more vehicles entered the intersection at the same time, which caused them to forcefully collide. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
