Raleigh, NC (June 1, 2021) – At 7 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, June 1, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Buck Jones Road and Wilmot Drive. Two vehicles collided after entering the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result of the crash.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were dispatched to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for a period of time as police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation continues.
