Raleigh, NC (August 8, 2021) – At 8:12 p.m. on the night of Sunday, August 8, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Buffaloe Road and North New Hope Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, colliding forcefully with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked at the intersection for a period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the collision continues.
