Raleigh, NC (July 19, 2021) – At 9:43 a.m. on the morning of Monday, Jul 19, a car crash with injuries occurred at a Raleigh intersection.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Capital Boulevard and Crabtree Boulevard. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide forcefully with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result of the crash.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were hospitalized due to serious injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time.
