Raleigh, NC – Injury Accident at Capital Blvd & Perry Creek Rd Intersection

Raleigh, NC (August 24, 2021) – At 5:47 p.m. on the evening of Tuesday, August 24, a car crash with injuries occurred in Raleigh.

According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Capital Boulevard and Perry Creek Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the collision were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.

Raleigh Police Department officials continue their investigation into the accident.
