Raleigh, NC (August 20, 2021) – At 9 p.m. on the night of Friday, August 20, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of Dixie Trail and Lewis Farm Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked at the intersection for some time.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
