Raleigh, NC (August 16, 2021) – At 6:52 a.m. on the morning of Monday, August 16, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Falls of Neuse Road and Country Ridge Drive. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided after entering the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other local responders were immediately called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time.
