Raleigh, NC (September 20, 2021) – At 5:10 p.m. on the evening of Monday, September 20, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Glenwood Avenue and Lynn Pinecrest Street. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were injured in the crash. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for a period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
