Raleigh, NC (September 8, 2021) – At 5:12 p.m. on the evening of Wednesday, September 8, a car crash with injuries occurred in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Kelley Austin Drive and New Bern Avenue. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with one another after entering the intersection at the same time. The vehicles involved in the crash were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection until police were able to fully clear the scene.
