Raleigh, NC (September 26, 2021) – At 8 p.m. on the night of Saturday, September 25, a serious car crash with injuries occurred at a Raleigh intersection.
According to Raleigh Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Lake Wheeler Road and Yates Mill Pond Road. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time around the entrance to Yates Mill Pond. The vehicles forcefully collided, causing severe damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured in the accident. The injured victims were immediately hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
