Raleigh, NC (August 21, 2021) – At 7 p.m. on the evening of Saturday, August 21, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Raleigh.
According to the Raleigh Police Department, the accident happened at the intersection of Louisburg Road and North New Hope Road. Two or more vehicles were driving in the area when they allegedly collided with each other due to unknown reasons at the intersection. The accident led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their identities and conditions are not known at this time.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time as police cleared the scene.
The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
