Raleigh, NC (July 1, 2021) – At 4:13 p.m. on the afternoon of Thursday, July 1, a car crash with injuries occurred in Raleigh.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of New Bern Avenue and Donald Ross Drive. Two vehicles were traveling in the area when they allegedly entered the intersection at the same time, causing a forceful collision. The vehicles involved in the crash were extensively damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those with injuries. One or more victims were hospitalized with injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for a period of time.
The Raleigh Police Department continues its investigation into the collision.
